About the L.A. Black Book Expo (from the site): The Los Angeles Black Book Expo is a community-based organization founded in 2004 to advance African world community, literary and spoken word activity. The Expo seeks to serve a diverse population, undivided by gender, ethnicity, age, income and geography, especially Africans and African Americans and friends of the African and African American community who are involved in and concerned with the importance of reading and education. The L.A. Black Book Expo promises to be another exciting event, gathering authors, readers, celebrities, youth, fun and camaraderie together in an exciting way.
About The Pantheon Collective (TPC3): In December 2009, three powerful individuals joined forces to shake up the publishing world. Their MISSION: to empower and inspire (aspiring) authors to take control of their destinies and make their dreams come true. Their PASSION: getting their work (and the work of others) out into the published universe. Their STRUGGLE: overcoming individual issues (personalities, distance, interpersonal relationships, finances, day jobs) for the good of the collective, while balancing their roles as productive authors and creators.
Their tagline says it all: Three Minds. One Mission. No Limits.
